Here are options at my favorite Cuban bakery in my neighborhood, Ricky Bakery. Pastelitos de guava, queso y más! My favorite: pastelito de queso. With café con leche, medio oscuro.
Oooh -- now I've got to visit! There are a couple of El Salvadorian pastelerias nearby... probably not the same, but I'm inspired to pay them a visit now anyway :-)
Hi! I live in Canada (Victoria, BC) and my husband is from Miami, and we go visit every year. I was just looking for images of pastelitos de queso (to tempt us with, haha) and was saying "none of these look right, there's no sugar, where's Ricky bakery when you need it?" and then saw your photo and recognized the pastelitos, table, chair and cafe con leche even! Are you in the Westchester/Kendall area? My mother-in-law lives right by that Ricky Bakery.
